Since Riza Gilpin was a very young girl, she has deeply enjoyed the flavor of tea, which has evolved into a lifelong passion. During the herbal tea era of the 1970’s, Riza had dreams of opening a tea house, but the course of her life changed and she found herself heading down a different career path. Even so, her love of tea never diminished.

Years passed. After spending many seasons vacationing in beautiful south central Montana, Riza shared her husband’s dreams of living out West. Finally, after permanently relocating, her desire to share the rich experience of enjoying tea was rekindled and Tumblewood Teas was born.
